I have been listening to others around me crying about how "Our Economy is in the worst shape ever!" , "We are in a world recession that is going to lead to a world depression!"

WAH, WAH, WAH, Poor Us!

Have we forgot about the fact that we are BLESSED to live in the greatest country in all of the WORLD! And from what I can see, I have still not experienced some of the hardships suffered by many in the Third World Countries. Please understand that a HARDSHIP to us is to not be able to afford good Christmas gifts for our families. Enter the world of REAL hardships: Many different cultures can not receive the health care we are fortunate to get, therefore having to suffer with their health and sometimes their LIVES.

And for all of the people living in America who have severe health problems I would like to use you as an example, to let all the COMPLAINERS realize that we really don't have it so bad after all.

In this time of bad economic failure let's all have hope and capitalize on it! The Bush administration just bailed out the Auto Industry. Real Estate has bottomed out and will make a HUGE comeback within the next 6 months to a year! Fannie and Freddie are revived! And while things are not the greatest, let's capitalize on what we CAN do! Affiliate Marketing and Direct Sales are the wave of the future!

We will live through this recession and LIFE will FLOURISH! Some people will not have it that good. Be thankful for your HEALTH, FAMILY, and that GOD ALMIGHTY has graced you to be in good shape and a BLESSING to many other people.

Start living your life like YOU want it. CREATE YOUR OWN ECONOMY!

Great insight, Jeff. Thanks. Wonderful comment JoAnn. It all comes down to self-love, don't you think? God, if we could all learn to simply love ourselves and then just be that change to everyone we meet, what an incredible world we could make for ourselves...agreed?

Go for it, Jeffrey!

When you live by your wits instead of at someone else's trough (salaried, public funds, etc.) I think you stay more aware of what real value is for a lot of things, including your time and the "things" you feel you need. The reality base we all need has gotten totally distorted like a Salvador Dali painting.

Also, the sense that we are OWED a certain level of comfort has run rampant, and that cuts across all social classes. I see children and adolescents every day whose parents are in foreclosure and other forms of serious distress but they have yet to sit down with their kids and have a long talk about reality vs. the "have to have it right now" beliefs the kids are accustomed to.

The whole picture looks more and more like an addictive one, where the denial all the way up the food chain has finally fallen apart, and people are trying to sort through the wreckage of what their common sense originally told them vs. what the folks in expensive suits were telling them.

Admitting powerlessness can be the hardest part... But then-- guess what-- many of us needed to create our own gig long ago, we just dreaded that feeling of risk. The risks of self-employment are looking pretty wonderful right now, because at least we have access to the real facts about where we stand.
Thanks for the post, Pam

I have a tough time seeing the economy the way so many people are crying about...do you know I was browsing around at a couple of gifts for my wee ones, and items that would cost me 15 bucks just a few weeks ago...People are paying 50 bucks for now! How bad can the economy be when people pay exorbitant prices for stuff like Blues Clues notebooks?

The Poor Me Syndrome is about people who are unwilling to take personal responsibility for their own actions...

Thanks for the positive spin!

Great post Jeffrey!!! Unfortunately, to many, this way of thinking IS "Outside The Box"...

I am getting so sick of the "Poor Me" syndrome that is running rampant.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Thanks for the encouragement. I've felt positive about my future as a businessperson online. Glad to have my feelings confirmed.

Amen Brother..

I was out shopping for the Christmas Holiday That we
celebrate. My hubby and I ran into a total stranger
and she was going on and on about how she was not hurt
with her 401k and how she does not believe in saving for
retirement and how she was going to win by living off the
assistance of the government. I said to my hubby lets go home now
doesn't she realize she is the government? And by living off assisted
living she is winning at mine and your expense?

If people could just get their heads out of the sand and "THINK"
we are all entitled to free capitolisim and done properly no one gets hurt
and one never has to be impacted by the decision's of others..

Affilate Marketing, Direct sales are all good ways to create
ones own economy.. Build Jeffrey Build!

JoAnn
